Summer is definitely the moment when the events calendar becomes richer.
From small village fêtes which still come alive after centuries
of tradition, like the Sagra dei Portoni and the Palio delle 7
Frazioni, to events which arouse thousands of people like
Trento’s Feste Vigiliane, an historic commemoration where for a
week the city is transformed into a medieval town with costume duels
and re-enactments.
Then, with festivals in the area’s castles and lakes, the summer
reaches its peak ending with the splendid evening of the “Notte
di Fiaba” fireworks on Lake Garda.

Winter not only brings the snow, but also brings back the flavours of the past.
For some years now, in Trento and the towns of Trentino, the impressive
fairs which fill the city with stalls on St. Lucia’s Day and St.
Joseph’s Day have been accompanied by the local Christmas markets
inspired by Germanic tradition...
